Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Global Summit 2025
Course description
This 5-hour CE course examines the science and therapeutic applications of microdosing and psychedelic retreats. Participants will explore current evidence on microdosing—its potential benefits, limitations, and how it differs from other forms of psychedelic-assisted therapy—while considering directions for future research. The course also connects these findings to retreat-based practices, highlighting the unique considerations needed to ensure safe, effective, and culturally-sensitive care.
Participants will learn about the role of safety, environment, and integration in effective psychedelic therapy, including retreat-based applications of ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA. The course explores innovative approaches such as the use of sound-based technology to stimulate vagal activity for stress relief and sleep, as well as evidence that MDMA-assisted therapy may produce significant epigenetic changes and long-lasting clinical improvements.
The course also emphasizes the integration of mindfulness and compassion-based practices to support preparation, navigation, and community healing in psychedelic retreats. Participants will critically examine the benefits and limitations of microdosing with psilocybin and LSD, as well as the broader implications for rescheduling psychedelics and recognizing them as mind-revealing states that can be accessed through both pharmacological and natural methods.
Teachings are appropriate for healthcare professionals as well as the general public. Healthcare professionals will be able to incorporate the tools and practices offered in this program in ways beneficial to clients or patients.
